Timeline Index

History of Mathematics

A Timeline of Mathematics and Theoretical Physics

History of Mathematics Education

CCHS Library Catalog

We have books, too!

Do a keyword search on geometry and then check the index to see if there is information on your person. Don't forget to check the encyclopedia as well. Encylopedias will have useful timeline information. Ms. Franke can help you find books from the public library and will order titles for you.

When using databases remember to look for FULL TEXT articles. The databases have text-to-speech which is a feature many students find helpful. There is also translation for those students who are learning English, and this can be helpful with vocabulary.

You will all have to check multiple databases for this assignment. Be tenacious!

Google Custom Search: Famous Mathematicians

This custom search box only searches pre-selected, scholarly sources. If you look at the site url you will see they are all from the ".edu" domain. These sources count toward the 2 required academic sources.
